Episcopal Silver Jubilee Banquet of His Grace Zachariah Mar Nicholovos

On Saturday, November 17th, 2018, the Northeast American Diocese of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church celebrated the Episcopal Silver Jubilee of our beloved Diocesan Metropolitan, His Grace Zachariah Mar Nicholovos. Over 500 clergy and faithful gathered together at the Green Tree Country Club in New Rochelle, New York for the formal celebration banquet.


His Holiness Moran Mar Baselios Marthoma Paulos II, Catholicos of the East and Malankara Metropolitan presided over the meeting and congratulated His Grace on the blessed occasion. Esteemed leaders from the ecumenical community were also present to celebrate the special occasion. 

The Very Reverend Fr. John Parker, Dean of St. Tikhon's Orthodox Theological Seminary was present representing St. Tikhon's Seminary, The Orthodox Church in America, and The Most Blessed Tikhon, Metropolitan of All America and Canada. Fr. John congratulated His Grace and presented him with a beautiful Icon made of silver, to commemorate the Silver Jubilee. We thank Fr. John for his presence, love, and continued support. We are truly blessed to have him as our Dean at St. Tikhon's!
