St. Tikhon's Bids Farewell to Dr. Harry Boosalis

On Tuesday, March 9th, St. Tikhon's Seminary bid farewell to Dr. Harry Boosalis (Professor of Theology), as he will be relocating to his beloved Thessaloniki to be closer to family.

Dr. Harry has taught dogmatic theology here at STOTS since the Fall of 1992 (yes that's right, for 28 years)! He had a unique ability to connect with each of his students. The role he played in the life of the seminarians at STOTS over the years extended beyond that of a professor, thesis advisor or mentor. His love and passion for Christ and training the future minsters of Christ's Church will be surely missed.

Dr. Harry has been instrumental in the formation of all the Malankara Students who have taken part in the M. Div. program here at STOTS over the many years and we wish him the very best in his future endeavors!

As part of the farewell festivities, the STOTS students celebrated Dr. Harry with a personalized concert dedicated to his love for music, honored him with the prestigious Fr. Alexander Atty Service Award, and other tokens of appreciation.

Left to Right: Fr. John Parker (Dean of STOTS), Dr. Harry Boosalis, His Eminence Archbishop Michael (Seminary Rector), and Ryan Miller (3rd Year Student & Student Body President).

May God grant you many years!
