Fr. Samuel Varghese Visits St. Tikhon's

On Wednesday, September 4th, 2019, St. Tikhon's was blessed with the visit of Fr. Samuel Varghese, of the Diocese of Southwest America of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church. Fr. Samuel had come for two days and was able to spend some time with the Malankara students. Fr. Samuel met and talked with the Dean of St. Tikhon's Orthodox Theological Seminary, Fr. John Parker. On Thursday, September 5th, Fr. Samuel celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Malankara Chapel. We were also honored to have two OCA students (Fr. Dn. John Holoduek and Mark Markarios) attend the Divine Liturgy. After the Divine Liturgy, Fr. Samuel and the Malankara students were able to get dinner and spend the evening together. It was a blessed experience.
