Father Abraham (Abey) George Visits Saint Tikhon's Seminary

On February 27th, 2018, Father Abraham (Abey) George (STOTS 09'), visited St. Tikhon's Monastery and Seminary. Father was able to visit the Monastery Church, the Bookstore, and offer prayers in the newly renovated Malankara Chapel. He expressed his joy to see the transformation of the Chapel since his time at STOTS. Father Abraham was also able to spend time in fellowship with the Malankara Seminarians discussing his experiences as a Seminarian and sage advice in the realm of seminary education, formation, and prayer.

He also joined us for lunch where he spoke with the Dean, Father John Parker, and Dr. Harry Boosalis! Dr. Harry and Fr. Abraham reflected on their precious memories from Fr. Abraham's seminary years. The day ended with dinner at Uno's Pizzeria and Grill in Dickson City, PA!

Father Abraham labors much for the Church and wears many hats in the diocese. He serves as the Assistant Vicar at Saint Thomas Orthodox Church, Levittown, NY and as the Secretary to the Diocesan Metropolitan of the Northeast America Diocese. Father also serves as a Chaplain at the VA Medical Center and is the Director of FOCUS in the Northeast American Diocese.

We would like to thank Father Abraham for taking time out of his schedule to visit us, lead us in prayer, and for taking us out for dinner.
