Sub-Deacon Elect, Dennis Mathai Unveiled

On Monday, February 4th, 2008 (4:04 PM EST), Sub-Deacon Elect, Mr. Dennis Mathai shaved off his entire beard after nearly four years. After being asked about the sudden decision, Dennis responded, "I thought it would make me look skinnier." Brother Seminarians stood laughing for nearly ten minutes. Dn. George Mathew of Baltimore declared the day as the Feast of the Unveiling. The shaven hair has been kept in a sacred place as a testament to this day.

On a different note: Brothers, we hope you are all doing well; we'd also like to thank all of you for coming down here to Houston and helping support the St. Thomas retreat a few weeks ago. We feel blessed that you all were able to come and make it a great experience. I hope we'll see you all soon enough.
