Phase 2 Renovations to Saint John Chrysostom Malankara Orthodox Chapel

By the Grace of God, Phase 2 of the renovations to Saint John Chrysostom Malankara Orthodox Chapel are now complete! Phase 2 renovations consisted of installing a new light fixture, and mounting new icons.

The icons displayed on the eastern wall from left to right include Archangel Michael, Deesis, and Archangel Gabriel. These icons were purchased from St. John Chrysostomos Greek Orthodox Monastery in Wisconsin.

The icons displayed on the northern wall from left to right include St. John Chrysostom, St. Peter and St. Paul, and St. Thomas.

The icons displayed on the southern wall from left to right include St. Yeldo Mar Baselios, St. Geevarghese Mar Gregorios of Parumala, and St. Geevarghese Mar Dionysius of Vattesseril.

We want to thank St. Tikhon’s Seminary, Archbishop Michael (Rector of St. Tikhon's Seminary), and Very Reverend Father Dr. John E. Parker III (Dean of St. Tikhon's Seminary) for allowing us to renovate our place of worship and giving us all the tools we needed to do so.

We want to thank Father Vjekoslav Jovicic and Father Moses for installing a new light fixture in our chapel.

Last but not least we would like to thank the generous Malankara Orthodox Alumni members who donated the money to renovate the chapel and purchase the necessary icons. Without the Malankara Alumni Members, this renovation would not have been possible.

We ask all to keep St. Tikhon’s Seminary, St. Tikhon's Monastery, Archbishop Michael, Father John Parker, Father Ignatius, the Malankara Alumni Members, and all current seminarians in your prayers.
